Meet Barani and Malu: two critically endangered Sumatran tiger cubs born at the Fort Worth Zoo in Texas. The tiny duo are the cubs of first-time mother Ndari and father Rakan, the zoo said. The cubs have been developing well and bonding with their mother. The zoo said it has renewed its focus on conservation work for the species, doubling the size of its previous tiger habitat in 2023.
