Halloween: The Game just dropped what is easily its BIGGEST update yet, and Patch 1.1.0 is completely shaking up the meta with major Civilian nerfs, several Michael Myers buffs, heavily reworked escape routes, Pocket Knife changes, stamina adjustments, new performance improvements and even a possible HALLOWEEN 5 SCYTHE discovered inside the game files. IllFonic is officially trying to slow matches down and reduce objective rushing, which means Storm Cellars are now harder to open, fewer Bolt Cutters, Gas Cans and Escape Keys will spawn, Storm Cellar and Gate escape capacity has been reduced, more blockers can appear, and clearing Overgrowth now takes longer. Civilians are also getting hit with increased stamina consumption while sprinting, stronger Bleed effects, increased fall damage, weaker shoves and melee attacks while exhausted, a reduced Flare Gun Police Presence boost and a Pocket Knife struggle minigame that now scales based on Michael’s Stalk Tier and Bloodthirst level.
