Residents of Piddington, Oxfordshire, are campaigning against a proposed migrant accommodation camp which, according to this discussion, could house 1,250 men near their village of around 350 people. Piddington Parish Council chair Tim McNally joins Kevin O’Sullivan to explain why residents feel ignored by the government, and why their campaign is challenging the plans. “They prioritise migrants over us,” Kevin argues, questioning the government’s response to local concerns.
