Students at Cornell are protesting the university's handling of an alleged sexual assault at a fraternity-house in 2024 and to show support for the unnamed accuser. Hundreds gathered on Monday to hear speeches by their fellow students in what's expected to be the first of multiple protests this week. Also on Monday, the university had to scrub graffiti blasting the school's response off its main administration building A Cornell spokesperson says the vandalism is under investigation. The sexual assault case has drawn intense national scrutiny since the accuser's lawsuit came to light last month. The seven men she's accused have denied any wrong-doing.
