If there is one upgrade I would recommend to anyone in a cold climate, its to install electrical for heat for a bathroom floor 🔥 And if you are going through the trouble of installing a floor heating system, you might as well do the shower and bench 😃 👉Be sure to check out the floor heat electrical rough-in video https://youtu.be/KS8AMzZbqYE Couple of tips on installing Schluter Ditra Heat Mat & Cables: 1. Be sure thinset is mixed to the wettest ratio. I recommend using Schluter All-set - https://shoplowes.me/4gIeKkR 2. Use a 1/4" x 3/8" trowel - https://amzn.to/4yrN0al I'm using a 1/4" x 1/4" in this video, but you are better off having more thinset with better coverage. 3. Use two sets of wires for the system. One will go to the Shower, the other for the main floor 4.
