The husband of a royal GP has appeared in court charged with her murder after she was found dead at her home near the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. Dr Hannah Cain, 45, was found dead at her home in Fern Hill, Dersingham, in the early hours of October 4. Her family paid tribute to her as a “kind, generous and loving” mother, who took “great care” of her patients, in a statement issued by Norfolk Police. Mark Cain, 45, of Fern Hill, Dersingham, was arrested after the incident and later charged with her murder. Cain appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday wearing a black sweater and spoke only to state his name, address and date of birth. He was not asked to enter a plea. Prosecutor Jackie Hanlon told the court that the ambulance service had contacted the police at 2.25am on October 4 after Dr Cain was “found in an upstairs bedroom not breathing, not conscious". "She was attended to by paramedics," Ms Hanlon said. • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2
