A man has admitted sexually assaulting a woman who was drugged and raped by her husband for more than 20 years. Sean Peers, 38, of Stockport, Greater Manchester, was due to go on trial later in October along with 11 other men who all deny various allegations involving sexual offending against the same woman. Peers entered the dock at Manchester Minshull Street Crown, on October 7, and changed his plea to guilty to a single offence of assault by penetration. Judge Maurice Greene extended his bail ahead of sentencing on a date to be fixed. The husband, who pleaded guilty in September to multiple sexual offences against his wife, appeared at the same court and admitted a further rape and sexual assault. • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2lOHmNj • Get breaking news and more stories at http://www.itv.com/news Follow ITV News on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@itvnews?lang=en Follow ITV News on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on Facebook: h
