The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is holding a People’s Tribunal and ‘Chappal Protest’ at Freedom Park in Bengaluru over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. YouTuber Dhruv Rathee and actor-activist Prakash Raj have joined CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and other organisers at the event. The tribunal is hearing accounts from people across Karnataka who organisers say were affected by the electoral-roll revision, including allegations of wrongful deletion of names. The programme is followed by the symbolic ‘Chappal Protest’, which organisers say is being held in solidarity with women. Watch LIVE for the latest developments, speeches and reactions from the Bengaluru protest, including appearances by Dhruv Rathee, Prakash Raj and CJP leaders. --- CJP Chappal Protest | CJP Bengaluru Protest | Dhruv Rathee Bengaluru | Prakash Raj Protest | Anti SIR Protest | SIR Protest Bengaluru | Special Intensive Revision | Bengaluru Protest | Freedom Park Protest | CJP People’s Tribunal
