In an exclusive one-on-one interview, NY1’s Errol Louis asked Mayor Zohran Mamdani how his newly formed Office to Combat Antisemitism will track to check if its strategies are working. Mamdani mentioned that Jewish New Yorkers constitute a majority of victims of hate crimes in the city, despite only comprising between 10% to 12% of the city’s population. “A metric of that is how do we start to drive those numbers down and never be satisfied until the number of hate crimes across the city is zero,” he said in the latest installment of NY1’s “Out of Office with the Mayor.” #NY1 #NYC #News #politics #mamdani #zohranmamdani -------- For more on this and the latest NYC news: http://specne.ws/NY1YT Watch live news: http://specne.ws/YTliveSN Get the Spectrum News App on all your favorite devices: http://specne.ws/GetSNApp2
