Asked by NY1's Errol Louis about being used as a Democratic "bogeyman" by Republicans, Mayor Zohran Mamdani pointed to what he says his administration has accomplished, including filling 200,000 potholes and delivering universal child care for two-year-olds. "To Republicans, I would say that they're welcome to use this however they may want to," the mayor said. "But what we've seen so far is that actually, there are far more people interested in this kind of politics than scared of it." #NY1 #NYC #News #mamdani #zohranmamdani #politics #midterms2026 -------- For more on this and the latest NYC news: http://specne.ws/NY1YT Watch live news: http://specne.ws/YTliveSN Get the Spectrum News App on all your favorite devices: http://specne.ws/GetSNApp2
