Warning - this film contains images of malnourished babies. The risk of famine is looming over Somalia's most vulnerable people, as its aid budget has been slashed. Sky's Yousra Elbagir reports from the hospitals where children are treated for acute malnutrition and IDP camps where families have no food. The reality is that less than 2% of the millions in need are expected to receive food aid in the months ahead. The UK is planning to nearly halve its humanitarian aid to Somalia, while USAID - one of the biggest donors to Somalia - abruptly shut down. NGOs are now shifting into what they call 'hyper-prioritisation' and forced to choose who to help with far fewer resources. #somalia #africa #skynews SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel for more videos: http://www.youtube.com/skynews Follow us on X: https://twitter.com/skynews Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/skynews Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/skynews Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.c
