Brett Bruen, President of the Global Situation Room and former US diplomat, says Iran may not go along with President Trump's effort to keep tensions down before the midterm elections and could continue using attacks to demonstrate its leverage. Bruen says President Trump cannot speak on behalf of Israel and says Netanyahu will make his own calculations based in part on his political prospects. Bruen says leaders in Europe, Canada, Japan and the Middle East are starting to build their own structures as political power diffuses in what he calls a "post-American era," creating a new economic and political dynamic. He speaks with Kailey Leinz and Joe Mathieu on Bloomberg’s "Balance of Power." -------- More on Bloomberg Television and Markets Like this video?
