BREAKING: An ICE agent opened fire during an immigration enforcement operation in New York City, wounding a 28-year-old Dominican man while a five-year-old child was inside the vehicle. The child was unharmed, and the man’s injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening. The October 8 shooting in Marble Hill sparked protests and clashes with police, with demonstrators demanding that ICE leave New York City. Mayor Zohran Mamdani condemned the shooting and said he contacted President Donald Trump to demand an end to ICE enforcement operations in the city. New York Governor Kathy Hochul also called for transparency and the release of body-camera footage. Federal authorities defended the operation, while the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations investigate the incident. Questions remain about the circumstances leading up to the gunfire as the shooting intensifies the debate over ICE enforcement, immigration policy, and accountability in the United States. Watch for the late
