A High Court judge ruled that the search warrants used to raid Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s homes in February were unlawful, saying “a significant error” was made. Friends say he feels “vindicated” and that this is the start of a “fightback”, and he is taking further action to recover seized items. Thames Valley Police accept the warrants must be quashed but are applying to keep the material, and their investigation continues. He has not been charged and maintains his innocence.
