The BBC pays white staff less on average than their ethnic minority colleagues in almost every pay band, according to a report in The Telegraph. The figures have raised questions about the broadcaster’s diversity drive and approach to pay. Director of Popular Conservatism Mark Littlewood joins Kevin O’Sullivan to discuss the BBC pay row, arguing that identity politics has led to “enormous overcompensation”.
