Hurricane Isaias is approaching the U.S. Gulf Coast as a Category 2 storm, with winds reaching 110 miles per hour. Forecasters expect it to strengthen into a major hurricane before making landfall near the Alabama-Florida border late Friday. Officials warn of dangerous storm surge, flooding and possible tornadoes. Saudi Arabia says three people were killed in attacks on Riyadh's international airport and a Saudi passenger plane. Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed responsibility, saying they targeted the airport with a ballistic missile. Airport operations have resumed, although some airlines have suspended flights. And the Pentagon says the execution of convicted Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan will be livestreamed. Hasan, who killed 13 people and wounded 32 others in 2009, is scheduled to be executed by firing squad December third. The military has not carried out an execution since 1961.
