A man has been shot and injured by a federal ICE agent in New York City with a five-year-old child in the backseat of the car, prompting Mayor Zohran Mamdani to repeat calls for ICE to be abolished in the city. He survived the shooting and is being treated for injuries. Six people have been killed by federal immigration agents since President Trump returned to office, four of them in vehicle stops.
