A fresh security scare has hit the United Kingdom after British counterterrorism police arrested two Latvian nationals inside the perimeter of RAF Molesworth, a strategically important military base in Cambridgeshire that hosts U.S. and NATO intelligence facilities. The arrests came after a security patrol spotted an abandoned vehicle near the base and officers discovered a breach in the perimeter fence. The men, aged 36 and 32, remain in custody on suspicion of trespass and entering a prohibited place for a purpose prejudicial to the UK.
