Bridget Philipson has said she "understands the concerns" raised by Piddington women, after GB News was told she has refused to meet with them. Residents in the quaint Oxfordshire village held a symbolic referendum last month and voted to leave the UK in protest at a Home Office plan to house up to 1,256 male asylum seekers at the nearby former MoD Bicester. The women in the village have since written to every female MP in Parliament but have only received a handful of replies.
