“It displays a degree of heartlessness or thoughtlessness.” Lord Robert Hayward condemns Green councillors’ decision to raise a Palestinian flag request at a Bolton council meeting on the anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attacks. The request concerned flying the flag for Palestinian Independence Day on November 15—not on October 7 itself. But Hayward argues that choosing the anniversary to bring forward the proposal showed a failure to respect the tragedy. “As far as I’m concerned, totally the wrong date.” The Conservative peer and pollster also examines the fallout from the Greens’ Zionism motion, questions whether Zack Polanski could face a leadership challenge and argues that the party’s increased by-election vote does not tell the whole story. #GreenParty #October7 #TalkTV Have you got a story?
