Green leader Zack Polanski says he would not have voted for the party motion declaring Zionism a form of racism, calling it “imperfect” and saying he would have backed an amended version. He did not attend the vote, as he was campaigning in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, which Labour won, though the Green majority gap narrowed. Caroline Lucas criticised his lack of leadership, and Andy Burnham called the motion “completely wrong”.
