Speaking to CMG host Zou Yun on Leaders Talk, Fields Medal laureate Maxim Kontsevich said he is not surprised that Chinese mathematicians Deng Yu and Wang Hong won the honor in July. He predicted it three years ago. He points to China's growing pool of mathematical talent and decades of steady research progress.
