Qatar’s Foreign Ministry says the attack on the airport in Riyadh is “a serious violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a direct threat” to regional security, civilian safety and infrastructure, and air navigation. Doha said in a statement that it “strongly condemned the attack” and reiterated Qatar’s “full solidarity” with Saudi Arabia and “support for all legitimate measures taken by the Kingdom to preserve its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests”. The ministry said Saudi Arabia’s security was integral to the collective security of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. Al Jazeera’s Malik Traina reports from Doha, Qatar.
