Addressing media persons after his release, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke stated that he was travelling home to be with his family following the death of his grandmother. Criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dipke questioned the disruption caused across Delhi to shield Gyanesh Kumar, alleging public inconvenience, thrashing of youth, and detention of prominent politicians.
