For decades, crude oil has been the world's most closely watched commodity. But in today's fragmented global economy, the real bottleneck may be diesel. As wars reshape trade routes, refinery capacity remains constrained, Europe and India are two sides of the same energy coin. India has it's refineries firing on all cylinders, while Europe is sweating the rising prices. Diesel is becoming a key pressure point for inflation, industry and economic growth. Could the next energy shock come not from oil wells, but from refineries? The Dip's Kassandra Sundt is joined this week by Jorge León, an energy economist now with Rystad Energy, he previously worked for BP and OPEC; she's also joined by Narendra Taneja, a noted global leader on the geopolitics of energy, he's the Chairman of the Independent Energy Policy Institute and previously worked as a National Spokesperson of the BJP. #dwbusiness #dwdip Subscribe to the audio podcast in the app of your choice here: https://pod.link/18403
