Saudi Arabia is reeling from its deadliest strike in more than a decade, with an attack on Riyadh International Airport reportedly killing 12 people and injuring over 300. The casualties include foreign nationals, including US and Jordanian citizens. The attack has triggered an emergency response, a rare mass call-up of doctors in Riyadh, and fresh security alerts from multiple foreign embassies. The Saudi-led coalition has vowed a decisive response against the Houthis, calling the attacks a ‘full-fledged war crime’. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has suspended physical classes for a week, while US, Canadian, German and Spanish embassies have warned their citizens to avoid Riyadh Airport. US President Donald Trump has called the attack ‘unacceptable’, while Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned it as ‘heinous’ and a threat to regional stability. In this video, Firstpost explains the escalating attacks, Saudi Arabia's response, and the wider implications for regional stability.
