Flash floods have devastated Nepal’s Budhi Gandaki River region, sweeping away homes, destroying three bridges and damaging key infrastructure in Gorkha District. Dramatic visuals show muddy floodwaters surging through riverside settlements, while a camp linked to the 341-megawatt Budhi Hydroelectric Project was reportedly swept away. Authorities have issued flood alerts, urging residents and tourists to move to higher ground amid fears of further flooding downstream. A possible landslide blockage of the Syar Khola is reportedly under investigation as officials assess the damage and monitor rising water levels. With homes damaged, bridges destroyed and communities at risk, the latest flooding has raised fresh concerns over public safety and the threat of further destruction across Nepal. #NepalFloods #NepalFlashFloods #BudhiGandaki #NepalFloodAlert #FlashFloods #NepalFlooding #GorkhaDistrict #BudhiGandakiRiver #NepalDisaster #FloodEmergency #BridgesDestroyed #LandslideRisk #Hydropow
