Donald Trump has called for an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine just hours after announcing a sanctions busting deal with Vladimir Putin to buy Russian diesel. The U.S. President took to Truth Social to declare the warring nations had agreed to halt strikes on each other's energy infrastructure. It comes after Trump's criticism of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, blaming him for high diesel prices and suggesting Ukraine should elect a new leader. #trump #putin #energy #zelenskyy #diesel #war
