Communities on the U.S. Gulf Coast were bracing as Hurricane Isaias made landfall Friday night as a Category 2 storm. The storm, with winds up to 105 mph, made landfall near Destin, Florida, in the Florida Panhandle at 8:30 p.m. CT. As it continued its march north over the western part of the Panhandle, the storm weakened to a Category 1 and then to a post-tropical cyclone early Saturday. At least four deaths from the storm were confirmed, according to officials, including two in Florida and two in Alabama. ––– Subscribe to ABC News on YouTube: https://abcnews.visitlink.me/59aJ1G ABC News is your daily source of breaking national and world news, exclusive interviews and 24/7 live streaming coverage. https://abcnews.com Download the ABC News app for the latest headlines and alerts: https://abcnews.com/devices Connect with ABC News on social media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ABCNews Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/abcnews TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@abcnews X:
