Preserved in libraries, temples, colleges and private homes, these collections are at the heart of Gyan Bharatam, a national effort to bring custodians, conservators and scholars together. In this video, Culture Secretary Vivek Aggarwal and project director Anirban Dash explain how manuscripts are being identified, carefully conserved and digitised, and how the initiative aims to make their knowledge easier to explore through an online portal.
