@thomyorke_ and @HarryStyles meet as part of Rolling Stone’s eighth annual Musicians on Musicians series. They first met in Rome a couple of summers ago, when Styles spotted Yorke walking down a side street—both were alone and incognito. Styles grew up idolizing Yorke, calling @Radiohead his favorite band ever. Both artists are on a roll right now: #thomyorke has worked prolifically with his band the Smile and solo, and will tour next year with #radiohead. #harrystyles is currently on his record-breaking “Together Together” tour, with his Number One blockbuster, the bold club-influenced experiment 'Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.' Yorke was honored this spring at the U.K.’s Ivor Novello Awards, where Styles gave a heartfelt tribute. They met up in London, talking in depth about songwriting, fame, fandom, suffering from imposter syndrome, refusing to repeat past successes, walking for inspiration, crying onstage, and so much more.
