Ed Boon just dropped ANOTHER HUGE update on NetherRealm Studios' next game, revealing even MORE details about what could potentially be Injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 13, and this time he's quietly shutting down several additional fighting game rumors that almost nobody seems to be talking about! Following his recent statement confirming that NetherRealm's next game will NOT be a 3v3 tag team fighter, the Mortal Kombat co-creator took to BlueSky to respond to several fans asking about the studio's mysterious upcoming project, officially ruling out 4v4, 5v5 and even 6v6 tag team fighting games! However, what makes these responses especially interesting is that Boon has STILL not ruled out the possibility of a traditional 2v2 tag team mode, potentially leaving the door open for Injustice 3 to introduce a feature similar to Mortal Kombat 9! In this video, we're breaking down Ed Boon's newly discovered BlueSky responses, his surprising reaction when asked when NetherRealm will FINALLY begin
