This creature could slice you clean in half without a single tooth. Instead of teeth, it had two blades of solid bone that sharpened themselves every time they wore down. It charged its prey and sheared clean chunks straight out of them in about one-fiftieth of a second. This was Dunkleosteus, the ruler of the Devonian ocean around 360 million years ago.
