German CDU lawmaker Gunther Krichbaum made an awkward verbal slip while discussing Berlin’s continued support for Ukraine, briefly referring to the conflict as a “war of aggression against Russia” before immediately correcting himself to say Ukraine. Speaking in Luxembourg, Krichbaum was explaining Germany’s position on Ukrainian elections and Russian-held territories.
