Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says Ukraine could organize elections if Russia agrees to a 60-day ceasefire, responding to U.S. President Donald Trump’s call for Ukraine to get a new president. In an interview aired Sunday on ABC’s This Week, Zelensky proposed a two-month halt in fighting to allow the vote to take place. He also said Ukraine would accept whatever choice its people made. Trump had said Saturday that it was time for Ukraine to have a new president, arguing that Zelenskyy had not done enough to end the war and blaming him for high diesel prices in the United States. Zelenskyy’s proposal now puts the possibility of elections alongside the continuing debate over a ceasefire and the path toward ending the war. #Ukraine #Zelenskyy #DonaldTrump #RussiaUkraineWar #Ceasefire #UkraineElections #WorldNews #BreakingNews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
