It would be "sensible" for Ukraine not to hit Russia's oil refineries "for now" while details of Donald Trump's diesel deal are worked out, Sky's security analyst Prof Michael Clarke says. The US president's announcement on Friday that Russia would supply the US with diesel caught Ukraine's leadership off guard. He then proposed an energy ceasefire over the weekend to stop both sides attacking the other's energy infrastructure. Prof Clarke said the decision showed "Trump has changed sides in the war again" but the Ukrainians should refrain from hitting Russia's energy infrastructure for the time being.
