One teenager was killed and schoolchildren and teachers were injured when unexploded military ordnance detonated during a school trip in northern Israel near the Lebanese border. Israeli police, emergency responders and military bomb-disposal teams arrived at the scene near Ramim Ridge, while the injured were taken to hospitals. Police said the trip had reportedly received the required approvals and that investigators were examining how the explosion occurred and whether additional restrictions on school trips in the area were needed.
