Senior Supreme Court Advocate Shadan Farasat says no citizen, lawyer or not, should be treated the way Delhi Police treated protesters over the weekend. He calls it "classic state repression of the highest order" and says the last time lawyers had to rush to the Supreme Court over fundamental rights being effectively suspended was the Emergency. He insists it's time for the courts to do more to protect a safe space to protest.  Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
