US President Donald Trump is insisting that Russia and Ukraine have agreed to stop attacking each other’s energy infrastructure. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Kyiv supports the ceasefire and is ready to sign a deal. But Moscow is rejecting any pause in fighting and is vowing to press ahead with its military campaign. In the latest attack, a Russian strike on a high-rise residential building in a suburb of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv killed at least two people and injured at least seven.
