Reform UK’s proposals to deploy Royal Marines in the Channel have sparked a heated debate over border enforcement and the circumstances in which lethal force could be used. Isabel Oakeshott, Talk’s international editor, joins Jeremy Kyle to defend the proposals and challenge criticism of the party’s approach to stopping small boats. “Come on, get a grip,” she says, arguing that the proposals are being misrepresented and accusing the Conservatives of lacking the determination to tackle the crossings: “They just didn’t have the will to do it.” Ms Oakeshott also dismisses the prospect of a Reform–Conservative deal under the current leadership, saying: “Nigel Farage will not work with Kemi Badenoch.” #reformuk #nigelfarage #illegalimmigration Have you got a story?
