Matchbox The Movie Review - Look out Barbie! A brand new toy-to-movie is out on Apple+ and this one is about Matchbox cars! So... yeah. Why? Who thought this was a good idea? Matchbox the Movie has about as much to do with Matchbox toy cars as The Departed as to do with Pez dispensers. Matchbox the Movie is about a group of kids (called the Matchbox gang) that grow up to be spies. It's really dumb. Matchbox the Movie is directed by Sam Hargrave and stars John Cena, Jessica Biel, Arturo Castro, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris and Danai Gurira.
