A federal judge indefinitely restored MS NOW, CNN, and POLITICO’s access to the White House after they were banned by President Donald Trump. The judge sided with the news organizations, writing that Trump's ban likely violated both the First Amendment and the Fifth Amendment’s due process clause. The judge also rejected the administration's national security justification, ruling in part that "Trump likely banned plaintiffs from the White House because he believes that their reporting is generally inaccurate and biased against him.” MS NOW legal affairs reporter Fallon Gallagher joined Way Too Early to discuss the ruling.
