Duane “Keffe D” Davis has benn sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for orchestrating the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. Davis, 63, was convicted in August of first-degree murder with the use of a deadly weapon. He is the only person ever charged in the death of Shakur, who was shot off the Las Vegas Strip more than 30 years ago. Prosecutor Marc DiGiacomo said Davis is “guaranteed to die” behind bars. The killing was one of the most infamous cold cases in the US until the former leader of the South Side Compton Crips gave interviews and wrote about his role in the shooting in his 2019 memoir. #tupac #2pac #music #hiphop #rap
