Grocery stores across France were forced to throw away millions of euros worth of food Tuesday after store refrigerators and freezers were hacked, sending temperatures soaring. The hack targeted coolers operating with outdated software in about 700 stores, pushing temperatures as high as 122 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to spoiled food, the attack sparked some fires, according to Reuters. France authorities are investigating; so far, nobody has claimed responsibility for the hack.
