Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage have become embroiled in a row over the Chagos and Falklands Islands, as a politician from the territory welcomed Britain’s commitment to defend it from Argentina. Reform UK leader Mr Farage faced criticism from his Tory counterpart after he suggested he would be willing to “trade” control of the high profile Diego Garcia military base in the Chagos Islands to secure Donald Trump’s silence on the Falklands. The US President has declined to give full-throated support for British sovereignty of the Falklands, and tied this to ex-prime minister Sir Keir Starmer’s refusal to get involved in the US-Iran War. Speaking with Reform UK MP for Romford Andrew Rosindell, Talk's Ian Collins says: "I think Kemi Badenoch has made an error on this one!" #kemibadenoch #chagosislands #iancollins #talk Have you got a story?
