Germany’s political landscape is witnessing a fresh shake-up as the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) and the left-wing BSW party join forces to demand an end to Berlin’s military aid for Ukraine. The two parties backed a symbolic motion in the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament, reigniting the debate over Germany’s support for Kyiv as the war with Russia continues. The move comes amid growing speculation over possible cooperation between the AfD and BSW, raising questions about the future of Germany’s political “firewall” against the far right. Meanwhile, Chancellor Friedrich Merz faces mounting criticism over spending priorities, with accusations that support for Ukraine is coming at the expense of domestic social and education programmes. #germany #afd #bsw #ukrainewar #ukraine #russiaukrainewar #friedrichmerz #germanpolitics #militaryaid #volodymyrzelenskyy #russia #europe #nordstream Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
