California community colleges will be required to provide access to abortion pills starting in 2029 under a new law signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom. The mandate could cost up to $27.9 million to implement, plus $9.3 million annually. Campus health officials have also raised concerns about staffing and infrastructure. But what about students who want to keep their babies? Maybe colleges should be supporting them instead of facilitating abortions.
