Mattie Duppler, Founder and President of Forward Strategies and spokesperson for The Ledger Project, says a rate hike is more likely than not after the latest CPI report came in modestly higher than expected. Duppler says consumers had a pandemic-era financial cushion when prices rose in 2022, while today they are increasingly using credit cards and savings to cover higher costs. Duppler thinks that financial pressure is what voters will be thinking about as they head to the polls. She speaks with Joe Mathieu and Kailey Leinz on Bloomberg’s "Balance of Power." -------- More on Bloomberg Television and Markets Like this video?
