New details have emerged in the federal criminal investigation involving US Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. Authorities seized Omar's phone during Monday's search of her Washington, DC, home, while more than a dozen grand jury subpoenas were issued, including to some of her relatives. Investigators are examining possible fraud involving immigration paperwork, although the full scope of the investigation remains unclear and no criminal charges against Omar have been announced. Washington US Attorney Jeanine Pirro has also confirmed investigations concerning the congresswoman's financial disclosures. President Donald Trump called Omar "totally crooked" and a "terrible person" but denied involvement in the investigation. Omar has accused the Trump administration of political intimidation, with the developments coming just weeks before the November midterm elections. #ilhanomar #donaldtrump #uspolitics #fbi #ilhanomarnews #trumpnews #minnesota #midterms2026 #democrats #worldnews Tim
