The Conservatives have failed in a Commons bid to halt plans to house 1,256 male asylum seekers at the former MoD Bicester site. Shadow minister Joy Morrissey raised safety concerns and called for the UK to leave the ECHR, but Labour MPs defeated the motion. The Government says similar sites have operated for years without significant increases in crime and promises 24-hour security, CCTV and cooperation with local police. Jeremy Kyle interviews Investigative Journalist David Shipley. #MoDBicester #Piddington #AsylumSeekers #JoyMorrissey #KemiBadenoch #ECHR #Immigration #UKPolitics Have you got a story?
